Yes — Sunflower Land is completely free to start. You can farm, fish, craft, and explore without spending any money or buying any crypto. A wallet is optional and only needed if you want to trade NFTs on the open market.
No wallet is required to get started. You can sign up with an email address and begin farming immediately. You only need a wallet if you want to withdraw your $FLOWER tokens or trade collectible NFTs on OpenSea.
Sunflower Land is built on Polygon, a low-fee Ethereum Layer 2 network. Transactions cost a fraction of a cent, so you can craft and trade without worrying about gas fees. The $FLOWER token is also available on Base chain.
$FLOWER is the in-game utility token of Sunflower Land. You earn it by playing — selling crops, completing deliveries, and competing in seasonal chapters. It can be swapped on Uniswap but is designed as an in-game currency, not an investment.
Players earn $FLOWER by farming crops, raising animals, fishing for rare Marine Marvels, and completing NPC deliveries. Rare collectible NFTs crafted in-game can be traded on secondary markets like OpenSea. The economy rewards skilled, active farmers.
Bumpkins are your playable characters in Sunflower Land. They level up as you play, unlocking new skills, tools, and areas to explore. Bumpkins are NFTs you truly own — tradeable, upgradeable, and unique to your farm.
